Applicants selected to receive an E-Bike rebate are required to submit eligibility verification documentation before they are issued a rebate. This documentation includes verification of identity, date of birth, residency, and household income.
Proof of ID (at least one):
- Current and valid Georgia Driver’s License
- Current and valid Georgia Voter ID card
- Birth Certificate
- Current and valid U.S Passport
Proof of Residency (at least one):
- Current rental/lease agreement
- Current Georgia Vehicle Registration or Title
- Most recent utility bill
Proof of Income (at least one):
- 2025 W-2 or 1099
- First page of 2025 1040 (Line 11 – Adjusted Gross Income)
- 2025 Form SSA-1099 (if Social Security is the only income and individual is not required to file taxes)
For the Tier 1 rebate ($1,600), applicants may provide the above proof of income documentation OR proof of enrollment in any one of the following programs:
- Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI)
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
- Georgia Low Income Home Energy Assistance, Program (LIHEAP)
- Georgia’s Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP)
- Supplemental Nutrition, Assistance Program (SNAP)
- Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
- Medicaid
If you are unhoused in the City of Atlanta and receiving services from a government agency or non-profit organization, a dated letter on the organization's letterhead stating your situation may be accepted in place of one of the above documents.
