Mobility Services

Mobility and air quality are critical factors for the Atlanta region’s economy and quality of life. The challenge of expanding transportation options while driving down pollution is greater than ever, as metro Atlanta’s population is forecast to reach 7.9 million by 2050. Working with the Georgia DOT and other state agencies, ARC’s Mobility Services team works to promote innovative commute solutions anchored in behavior change strategies, community input, and up-to-date employer and commuter data.

Transportation Demand Management Plan

The region’s Transportation Demand Management Plan aims to reduce single-occupancy driving by promoting alternative modes of transportation such as transit, carpooling, telecommuting, and walking and bicycling.

Georgia Commute Options

GCO is a program managed by ARC and funded by the Georgia DOT that works with employers, commuters, and schools to reduce the number of single-occupant vehicles in metro Atlanta, particularly during peak times.

Employer Services

ARC allocates funding to the region’s Transportation Management Associations, which are strategically situated in major job centers, to support various Transportation Demand Management (TDM) programs.

Georgia Commute Schools

This program aims to improve air quality and health outcomes by providing teachers with exciting, STEM-based classroom experiences and year-round promotions for students in grades K-12.

Atlanta E-Bike Rebate Program

Atlanta Regional Commission, the City of Atlanta, and PropelATL partner for an equity-focused e-bike rebate program, making sustainable commuting affordable.
