Model Users Group (MUG)
Friday, June 1 - Atlanta Regional Commission

The Atlanta Region’s MUG serves as the forum for all users of the ARC Travel Demand Model. The goals are to educate, inform and improve travel demand forecasting as part of the regional transportation planning process. MUG membership consists of staff from local, regional and state agencies, in addition to members of academia and consulting. Refer to the Model User Group page for more information.

ARC hosts quarterly Atlanta Region Geospatial Community meetings at our conference space at Peachtree Center.  The ARGC is a geospatial professional group primarily focused on local government in the Atlanta Region.  From time to time, we also engage state and federal government, academic and nonprofit entities. The purpose of the group is to highlight and support local government GIS initiatives, foster regional geospatial collaboration and encourage open data.

The Transportation Equity Advisory Group (TEAG) is just one component of the Atlanta Regional Commission’s (ARC) efforts to work towards a more equitable process. The TEAG serves to connect the subject matter expertise of equity advocates with transportation planners and agencies from around the region. The members of TEAG are then able to better understand and influence transportation planning process and outcomes, while being a voice for the needs of vulnerable populations.

ARWDB Regional ITA Committee Meeting

The Regional ITA Committee reviews and approves WIOA training provider applications for three separate Workforce Boards in the metropolitan Atlanta area (The Atlanta Regional Workforce Development Board, the DeKalb Workforce Development and the Fulton County Office of Workforce Development). Approved eligible training providers offer occupational skills training to eligible WIOA-funded adults and dislocated workers through local workforce board areas.
