The Atlanta Regional Workforce Development Board (ARWDB) Youth Committee provides expertise in youth policy and assists the ARWDB in developing and recommending employment and training policy for individuals between the ages of 16-24.
The Youth Committee is responsible for providing policy guidance for, and exercising oversight with respect to, a local workforce investment youth system conducted under the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA) in partnership with elected officials. The Youth Committee operates in Workforce Area 7, representing Cherokee, Clayton, Douglas, Fayette, Gwinnett, Henry, and Rockdale counties.
