The Atlanta Regional Workforce Development Board (ARWDB) Youth Committee offers specialized knowledge in youth policy and supports the ARWDB in formulating and recommending employment and training policies for individuals aged 16 to 24.
The Youth Committee is tasked with providing policy guidance and overseeing the local workforce investment youth system established under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) in collaboration with elected officials. This committee operates within Workforce Area 7, which encompasses Cherokee, Clayton, Douglas, Fayette, Gwinnett, Henry, and Rockdale counties.
