TIP Training Session

Ever curious how a project gets added to the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP)? Not sure what a TIP is? Or just want to know how the transportation planning process works in the region? Join us on Friday, April 26th for a full-day TIP Training session. We will cover the basics of how a project goes from an idea to actual construction and how projects in the region are added in the TIP.

This session is open to members of the public, consultants, local government staff, elected officials, and partner agency staff. Lunch will be provided as well as parking validation (International Garage, Courtland Garage, or 161 Peachtree Center Avenue Garage). Alternate modes of transportation are also encouraged via MARTA, cycling (bike racks available by Tin Lizzy’s) or walking.
