The Atlanta Regional Commission is updating the region’s Metropolitan Transportation Plan. This long-range plan allocates $173 billion through 2050 for transportation projects in metro Atlanta to ease congestion, provide new transit options, expand the region’s network of bike-ped trails, and much more.
ARC has developed an online survey to get input from residents across metro Atlanta. The following materials will help you spread the word to your networks and audiences. We want to make sure that the plan is developed with input that is representative of the entire region.
What kind of transportation projects should be prioritized? What are best long-term solutions to our traffic challenges? These are just some of the questions on a survey developed by the Atlanta Regional Commission to gather input for a major update to the region’s Metropolitan Transportation Plan.
What’s at Stake:
The plan will allocate about $173 billion in federal, state, and local funding through 2050 for transportation projects throughout [County/City] and the Atlanta region. These dollars will fund projects to ease traffic congestion, provide new transit and bike-ped options, improve safety, and provide commute alternatives.
