What kind of transportation projects should be prioritized? What are best long-term solutions to our traffic challenges? These are just some of the questions on a survey developed by the Atlanta Regional Commission to gather input for a major update to the region’s Metropolitan Transportation Plan.
What’s at Stake:
The plan will allocate about $173 billion in federal, state, and local funding through 2050 for transportation projects throughout [County/City] and the Atlanta region. These dollars will fund projects to ease traffic congestion, provide new transit and bike-ped options, improve safety, and provide commute alternatives.
The survey will help ARC prioritize how these funds are spent. It also covers a number of quality-of-life issues such as housing and the economy. Make sure your voice is heard and that [county/city] is represented at the regional table!
