2026 Safety & Active Transportation Roundtable Series
The 2026 Roundtable schedule is currently being developed to support the creation of the next Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP). While the full MTP schedule of work is still forthcoming, ARC staff have organized a series of early-year events and trainings focused on safety analysis tools, data resources, and implementation strategies relevant to active transportation planners and partners.

Micromobility and ARC’s Trail & Bike Plans
June 3, 2026, 3-5PM

Alta Planning and Design will present on micromobility including LA Metro’s bike share operations and the Los Angeles Mobility Wallet pilots. The session will then transition into a workshop discussion of ARC’s three interrelated trail/bike plans – Regional, South Metro, and Flint River Trail.

Training: Numetric AASHTOWare and ARC Risk Factors Web Tool (Online)

This session provided an overview of Numetric and AASHTOWare Safety Analyst, including where data comes from, how the tools are used, and practical applications for local governments. ARC staff introduced the ARC Risk Factors Web Tool and demonstrated how it complements safety planning efforts

Micromobility Symposium (In Person)

ARC and Georgia Tech’s Center for Urban Research hosted a regional micromobility symposium for transportation researchers and professionals. The event explored planning, policy, and implementation considerations related to shared and personal micromobility.
