ARC started the first Economic Development Forum Series in 2025. This was an implementation action item from the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS). The objective of the forums is to empower regional communities to achieve economic goals. The focus of the forums is on resources and programs available to communities, organizations, and small businesses.

Second Regional Economic Development Forum (11/9/2025)
The second Regional Economic Development Forum proved to be a resounding success, drawing participants from across the area. Regional leaders shared strategies to support small businesses, highlighting both financial and technical assistance opportunities. The event took place at The Lost Druid Brewery & Distillery (add a link) in Avondale Estates, a venue whose owners have effectively leveraged resources from the Small Business Administration, Georgia Municipal Association (GMA), and the Department of Community Affairs (DCA) to grow their business.
