Connecting Trails, Connecting Communities

Multi-use connected trails program to connect communities

Webinar Details

Category: Community Development

70 miles. That’s what’s needed to fill the gaps in metro Atlanta’s multi-use trail network to create a connected, 225-mile regional system, offering new biking, hiking, and walking opportunities. It’s far from a pipe dream. This webinar will explore some of the key community projects that would turn our existing patchwork of trails into a truly transformative, cohesive network. This webinar will address:

  • The disconnected nature of the region’s trail network, which limits the ability of trails to serve as a means of daily transportation
  • The lack of access to trails in some parts of metro Atlanta, despite robust investment across the region in recent years.
  • The key projects needed to connect existing trails and build out the regional trail network
