A Look Back at the ConnectATL Summit 2017

In 2017, Metro Atlanta was taking active steps to plan for the rapid advancements in transportation technology, such as autonomous vehicles and growing digital connectivity, which promise to transform our region. The Atlanta Regional Commission brought city and county government leaders and transportation officials from across the region together for a one-day summit on the future of mobility. We’re called it ConnectATL. The summit provided a framework for how community leaders, civic leaders and business leaders can work together to create a stronger, better connected, and more prosperous Atlanta region. This event serves as a signal to the world that metro Atlanta is a leader in planning for the future of mobility and smart cities and regions.
