The Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) is seeking proposals from organizations to provide Planning and Project Management for Public Safety Professionals/Officials. References of ARC and the Public Safety Professionals/officials mentioned throughout the RFP may be comprised of representatives from the advisory board of the Atlanta Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI), known as the Urban Area Working Group (UAWG) or their designee(s). The ARC will be the fiscal agent and is the overall responsible party for this project. The ARC will provide the funding and shall be designated as the payor. A representative from as few as eight but no more than twelve Public Safety agencies will identify and name a primary point of contact on behalf of their jurisdiction to serve as the “Representatives” to coordinate with and through their respective agencies. These “Representatives” shall be identified and named to the successful bidder(s) after the award and prior to the start of the project. The successful bidder(s) will provide all equipment, personnel, expertise, meeting expenses, travel, financial resources, training and exercise management, and program evaluation. Services are anticipated to begin January 6, 2025, with a contract completion date of December 31, 2028.
