The Poverty Equity Opportunity Committee is a part of ARC’s Community Resources Committee. This group is tasked with convening stakeholders around the issues related to poverty in our region.
Poverty is growing rapidly in the region’s suburbs, a trend that impacts local governments, school systems and service providers. This committee fosters a regional conversation about these concerns and helps communities plan and collaborate so that all the region’s residents have access to the tools and services they need to thrive.
