  • Metro Water District Governing Board

    Links to northgeorgiawater.org  | The Metro Water District, Georgia Environmental Protection Division, local governments and utilities and numerous stakeholders all play important roles in developing and implementing the District’s water resource management strategies. Members include the Governing Board, Executive, Technical Coordinating Committee, Basin Advisory Councils, Finance and Legislative Committees.

  • Atlanta Regional Workforce Development Board

    The Atlanta Regional Workforce Development Board (ARWDB) is responsible for providing policy guidance for the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Service Area 7, representing Cherokee, Clayton, Douglas, Fayette, Gwinnett, Henry and Rockdale counties.

    The Atlanta Region Workforce Development Board works to increase the Atlanta region’s competitiveness in the global economy by providing metro Atlanta employers with a highly trained workforce and robust labor market services. The board also seeks to maximize economic development opportunities for the Atlanta region and to ensure that residents have access to high-quality labor market information and quality training and employment services.

  • Strategic Relations Subcommittee

    The Strategic Relations Subcommittee (SRS) meets quarterly at 12:30 PM on the 4th Wednesday of February, June, August and October. The subcommittee discusses and informs the Board about innovation and best practices in the areas of strategic communications, community engagement, government relations, event planning and digital strategies.

    The Subcommittee Chair is appointed by the ARC Board Chair. The subcommittee includes both board members and subject matter experts from outside of the ARC Board.

  • ARC Board

    The ARC Board is comprised of 39 members, including County Commission Chairs, designated Mayors, and Citizen representatives, from the 10-county Atlanta region. A Georgia Department of Community Affairs representative also sits on the Board as a non-voting member.

    Board responsibilities include: setting agency policy; approving the annual budget and work plan; and approving regional planning initiatives. The board is comprised of elected officials and citizen members from the 10-county region (Fulton, Gwinnett, Cobb, DeKalb, Clayton, Cherokee, Henry, Douglas, Fayette, and Rockdale counties)

    The ARC Board meets at 1:30 p.m. on the second Wednesday of January, March, May, July, September, and December. All ARC Board meetings will be held online until further notice.

  • Regional Active Transportation Roundtable
