The Alumni Network and Land Use Coordinating Committee are hosting an Equity Forum for regional leaders and planning officials to explore their communities’ central equity challenges and ways in which these challenges can be addressed.

During last year’s LINK trip to Pittsburgh, Majestic Lane, the City of Pittsburgh’s Chief Equity Officer, delivered a powerful keynote speech that established equity as the defining theme for the entire visit. He joins Odetta MacLeish-White, TransFormation Alliance’s Managing Director to discuss the systemic inequities their organizations deal with on a daily basis, their role in addressing these issues, as well as how partner organizations, both private and philanthropic, are integral to their work. Breakout sessions will provide attendees the opportunity to discuss these challenges as well as lessons learned with their fellow leaders, including actionable ideas they can bring back to their communities to initiate immediate and lasting change.
