Overview

Join us for a discussion with the Georgia Environmental Protection Division on their Municipal Measurement Program (MMP) and work to help cities and counties reduce waste. The MMP is a simple and free tool designed exclusively for local governments to track and measure the effectiveness of waste and recycling programs. The MMP streamlines data in a centralized database and benchmarks local governments against national averages and reports out actionable recommendations to improve waste and recycling program performance.
In this hour, we will hear from the Georgia Environmental Protection Division, the Georgia Recycling Coalition and an exemplary community participant on the benefits their local government has received by taking part in the MMP.
