It identifies development opportunities currently present either in the form of vacant land or underutilized land, such as surface parking lots. The outcome of these existing conditions
Analysis and subsequent conversations with property owners is summarized in the Framework Plan, which identifies eight key project sites within the overall study area. While each of the eight sites are described in more detail, one site in particular – the redevelopment of the Perimeter Pointe Shopping Center – is identified as a catalytic project. The final section of the report lays out a series of recommendations related to a transit-oriented development strategy.
