The Community Resources Committee (CRC) is responsible for leading plan, program, and policy discussion about specific subjects referred to or initiated by the Committee, the Board, and/or ARC staff. This broad spectrum of topics encompasses much of the work of the Atlanta Regional Commission, including but not limited to: land use, water, natural resources, energy, local government services, and demographic and economic research.
The committee provides guidance on ARC’s Regional Development Plan, Community Technical Assistance Program, Livable Centers Initiative, Developments of Regional Impact review process, Metropolitan River Protection Act reviews, Green Communities and other issues.
CRC meetings are held at 9:00 am. They meet 8 times a year, in January, February, March, May, July, August, October, and November. Please note that meeting times and places can sometimes change. Contact ARC at 404-463-3100 to confirm.
