The Advisory Committee on Aging (ACA) is a required advisory body for the 10-county Atlanta Area Agency on Aging. The Committee is responsible for advising and submitting recommendations to the Commission on all matters relating to the development, review and evaluation of the Area Agency on Aging. It is also responsible for advising ARC staff on operations related to planning for and administering services to support the independence, health, and well-being of older persons in the region by cooperating with and assisting regional partners in the development of resources for older persons. The committee submits recommendations to the ARC Board.
The committee meets at 1 p.m. on the third Tuesday of every other month at ARC. Please note that meeting times and places can sometimes change. Contact ARC at 404-463-3100 to confirm.
