Mayor, Lovejoy
Mayor Fluellyn serves as the Clayton County mayoral representative on the ARC Board.
Ms. Fluellyn was elected Mayor of Lovejoy in 2023 after four terms on the city council. She was instrumental in starting the city’s Fall Festival and piloted a youth mentoring program.
She chairs the Lovejoy Urban Redevelopment Agency and is the executive director of Elevate Lovejoy. During her time on the city council, she served as Mayor Pro Tem three times for a total of six years, led efforts to build a community center, and worked with the local faith community to create a Gospel in the Park event.
Ms. Fluellyn works in the purchasing field, specializing in strategic planning. She retired in 2020 as the Director of Global Procurement for a global manufacturer. She has an associate’s degree with honors in Business Management from American InterContinental University and is a single mother with three adult children and two granddaughters.
