Liane Levetan serves as a citizen member of the ARC Board, representing District 7, which includes part of DeKalb County.
Liane Levetan was the first woman elected to the DeKalb County Board of Commissioners, where she represented District 2 for 10 years. In 1993, she was the county’s first female CEO, and served in that position for two terms from 1993-2000. She then served as a state senator and has remained engaged in public service.
Mrs. Levetan began her career as an educator and eventually became a real estate agent. She and her husband, Phil, have two daughters and four grandchildren.
