About Felicia Moore
President Felicia Moore serves as the Atlanta City Council representative on the ARC board. She chairs the Community Resources Committee and is also a member of the Governance Committee and the Pension Board of Trustees.
Prior to being elected president of the Atlanta City Council in 2018. President Moore represented District 9 on the council for 20 years. She focuses primarily on safer neighborhoods, government transparency, fiscal stability, and guaranteed city services.
President Moore is a cum laude graduate of Central State University in Ohio and holds a Master of Science degree from Central Michigan University with a concentration in Public Administration. She is an Honor Society member, and a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha (AKA) Sorority. She is a licensed real estate broker, and a resident of the historic Collier Heights community in Atlanta.
She is an active member and former board member of the National League of Cities (NLC). She’s a past president and current board member of the National Black Caucus of Elected Ofﬁcials, and is a member of the Georgia Municipal Association Legislative Policy Council, and is past president of GMA’s Central Region-District 3.
