About Andre Dickens
Mayor Andre Dickens represents the City of Atlanta on the ARC Board and currently serves as the Board Chair.
He began his first term as Mayor of Atlanta in January 2022. Prior to becoming mayor, he served as an at-large City Council member from 2013-2021. He also served on the boards of the Atlanta BeltLine, Invest Atlanta, and the Center for Civil and Human Rights.
Mayor Dickens is the Chief Development Officer for TechBridge, a nonprofit that brings affordable technology and business expertise to other nonprofit organizations. Mayor Dickens previously served as the Assistant Director of Outreach Initiatives for Georgia Tech’s Office of Institute Diversity.
Mayor Dickens is an engineer, a father, and a native Atlantan. He is a member of the Georgia Tech Alumni Board of Directors, and is an alum of Leadership Atlanta, Diversity Leadership Atlanta, United Way VIP, and ARC’s Regional Leadership Institute. He is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity, Inc. and is a deacon of New Horizon Baptist Church.
