Meet Our Annual Partners

The Atlanta Regional Commission’s 2020 Annual Partners have demonstrated a strong commitment to fostering collaborative regional approaches that improve quality of life in metro Atlanta. Their support elevates ARC leadership programs, research, and events throughout the year.

2020 Visionary

Georgia Power

Community and economic development are among the key missions of Georgia Power, the state’s largest electric utility. In fact, the company has helped to create or retain some 134,000 jobs in Georgia over the past decade. Georgia Power has a long history of support for local and regional initiatives throughout metro Atlanta, and its current partnership with ARC is evidence of this support.

Uber’s on-demand driver service has transformed transportation since its launch in 2010. The company, which has 8 million users worldwide, offers carpooling services with its Uber Pool and Pool Express. Other initiatives include Uber Movement, a website that gives urban planners access to Uber’s traffic data; and Uber Health, which allows health-care providers to schedule rides for patients.

2020 Innovator

Delta Air Lines

As Atlanta's hometown airline, Delta Air Lines is serious about supporting the community it calls home. While Delta is Georgia's No. 1 private employer and boosts the state economy by $43.5 billion each year, that support is not just about dollars. The company has a long history of forging partnerships with local leaders and civic organizations. In 2017 alone, it contributed $12 million to Georgia charities, educational institutions, and arts organizations.
