Kelly Smith is the Deputy Chief Financial Officer for the Atlanta Regional Commission. She has over 27 years of experience including the last 18 with ARC. She plays a key role in developing the agency’s annual budget, managing the agency audits, production of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Reporting, and overseeing day-to-day operations in the finance department.
Specializing in accounting data, she enjoys using her aptitude for technology and problem-solving to connect both internal and external stakeholders with information to make sound decisions.
Smith graduated from the University of Georgia with a BBA in Accounting and is a CPA. Smith is a current member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as well as the Georgia Society of CPAs.
